If you’ve been a reader of my Magnolia Tree blog then you’re likely to already know about my temperature blanket.
It’s a project that I started on 1st January 2018 and it will continue until the last day of December. I add one stripe for each day of the year, in a colour from a pre-set palette of shades that correspond with certain temperature ranges.
So, now that we’re nearly halfway through the year, how’s it going?
Well I have a confession to make … I ran out of one colour in May and despite a very enjoyable trip to Black Sheep Wools to scoop up some extra Scheepjes Merino Soft, I lucked out and they didn’t have that particular yarn on the shelf.
So even though I had been keeping up with my temperature blanket really well, it is now looking a little forlorn and neglected in a corner of my dining room, waiting for me to get my act in gear and stock up on the shade of purple that I need.
But the good news is that when I do get back to it, I should have lots of lovely pink and purple stripes to crochet. Can’t wait! 🙂
I’ll post another update soon.
